Our book on the day appointments are released Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9.30am.

  This is for two reasons:

  • We have a full complement of reception staff at this time to answer your calls, therefore we will be able to deal with your request more efficiently.
  • Patients no longer have to queue up outside the surgery, as it will be of no benefit for you to do this.

Our Thursday surgery runs from 9am-10am for Emergency appointments only!

When you book an appointment we will be asking you to give us some brief information as to what the appointment request is for.  This is to enable our medical receptionists to direct your request accordingly - some requests do not require a face to face consultation with a Doctor in this case.

                                 *******************************************

On a Friday morning from 9.30am onwards you will be able to book appointments for up to 2 weeks in advance with a named Doctor.  You will also be able to book appointments on the day, but you will not be able to choose a specific Doctor in this case.

                                 *******************************************

If you think your problem can be sorted out over the telephone, you will be able to book a telephone appointment that morning for one of the Doctors to ring you back and advise on what needs to happen. Telephone calls need to be booked early in the morning, these can be booked from 8.30am. Doctors will only attempt to call you back once as they have a list of phone calls to work through so please ensure you are available to take the phone call.

                                  ******************************************

We also run a daily cancellation list, and so it is important that you cancel your appointment should you find your problem has resolved before you come to see the Doctor.
